The game was re-released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as Silent Hill 4: The Room HD on March 18, 2013, and on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as Silent Hill 4: The Room on November 17, 2015.In Silent Hill 4: The Room, the player controls Harry Mason, who has been kidnapped and taken to the titular room in a mental hospital. The player must explore the room and find ways to escape, while avoiding the hospital's patients and staff. Silent Hill 4: The Room was well-received by critics, who praised its atmosphere and gameplay.
