Silent Hill Downpour [Prima] is a survival horror video game developed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and published by Konami. It was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in Japan on April 12, 2012, and in North America and Europe on April 17, 2012. Downpour is the first game in the Silent Hill series to be released on a seventh generation console. The game is set in the fictional town of Silent Hill, and follows the story of Harry Mason, who is searching for his wife, Cheryl, who has gone missing. Downpour introduces a new gameplay mechanic, the "P.T.D.D.", or "Puzzles to the Death", which are short, dark, and surreal mini-games that are played in between chapters.
